Voice, Video and Instant Messaging Software

Voice, Video and Instant Messaging Software

Times sure have changed from the days of our youth, in the late 60s, 70s and 80s, when we spent hours on the CB Radio with our friends. Nowadays, thanks to VoIP clients and instant messaging, everyone is using the Internet. You no longer need to purchase expensive radios, amplifiers, or cluttering up the yard with unsightly antennas. You can protect your anonymity, confidentiality and stop hecklers from disrupting you. We love these services listed below, and we hope you'll find this information useful in your search for old and new friendships you left behind on the CB Radio.

  • Skype is one of the better-known voice chat software products on the Internet. You can text, voice, and video chat with up to 12 people for FREE anytime. Once you install the software; please give us a call and my nickname is KE4JCD.

Welcome to our Blog

Welcome to our Blog!

We're the Bookworm Cowboy, the weird world of wonder, wondering about this weird world we live in today. We were a hard-core CB Radio enthusiast, then we tried Amateur Radio, our call sign was KE4JCD. As technology progressed, the way people communicated changed. Today we use Skype, Discord, Paltalk, Zello, etc., or enjoy multiplayer games.

Walt Disney said: “Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious...and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

"Maybe it’s not always about trying to fix something broken. Maybe it’s about starting over and creating something better."

Unfortunately, some remained behind on obsolete two-way radio, while a small minority backslid into interacting in person, who we quickly forgot about! Fortunately, the majority use the Internet, so we started this blog to share what we're doing today. You'll find us on SkypeDiscordPaltalkZello, etc., or multiplayer games as Avakin Life, World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, World of Warships, Minecraft, etc.

From CB Radio!

To this 24/7:

Come join the fun with the Bookworm Cowboy, the weird world of wonder, wondering about this weird world we live in today!
